6:15 PM Hikers begin to arrive and greet and talk to others
6:30 PM We take a photo with all the hikers “for search and rescue!
6:35 PM We start the first hike. It is about 1.5 miles and it is on flat dirt with no stressful sand dune climbs.
8:00 PM We arrive back at the Nature Center by 8:00 PM. Those who wanted this EASY hike say their goodbyes and drive off to binge watch something (LOL).
8:05 PM we start the second hike. We take Trail 7 or Trail 8 and experience climbs that have dunes up to 190 feet tall.
9:30 - 9:45 PM We are back at the Nature Center or ER. We say our goodbyes until next week or forever.
NOTES: There are drop pit toilets 500 feet to the west of the parking lot in the campground. One can go before or after any hike. There are no bathrooms on the trails.
